In meiner künstlerischen Arbeit geht es mir um die Sensibilisierung von Wahrnehmung. Ich bin nicht an der Abbildung von Gegenständlichkeit interessiert, dafür aber an der Oberflächenbeschaffenheit und den Farben der alltäglichen Dinge und der Natur.

Im Prozess des Wahrnehmens erlebt der Betrachter seine eigene aktive Rolle in der jeweiligen Vermittlung zwischen dem Vorstellen und dem unmittelbarem Sehen. Er kann unvollständige Formen gedanklich vollenden, kann die Selbstähnlichkeiten in der Natur entdecken.

Die Konzentration auf die Nähe erlebe ich als befreiende Loslösung vom Profanen und scheinbar Konkretem.



In my artistic work I am interested in the sensitization of perception. I am not interested in the depiction of representational objects, but in the surface texture and colors of everyday things and nature.

In the process of perception, the viewer experiences his own active role in the respective mediation between imagination and immediate seeing. He can mentally complete incomplete forms, can discover the self-similarities in nature.

I experience the concentration on the proximity as a liberating detachment from the profane and seemingly concrete.
